Join our team as a SQL Server Database Administrator (Hybrid – Porto)!

What You’ll Do:

  • Administer and maintain SQL Server databases in OLTP environments.
  • Manage and support high availability solutions, including AlwaysOn Availability Groups.
  • Monitor, analyze, and optimize database performance.
  • Perform root-cause analysis and troubleshooting in application stacks based on .NET and IIS.
  • Support and improve database operations in Azure SQL environments.
  • Ensure proper documentation, procedures, and operational standards are followed.
  • Act with ownership and autonomy in day-to-day database operations.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in SQL Server database administration.
  • Strong experience with OLTP environments.
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL Server OLTP, AlwaysOn Availability Groups, Azure SQL
  • Proven experience in performance analysis and optimization.
  • Hands-on experience with application troubleshooting in .NET and IIS stacks.
  • High level of documentation, rigor, and attention to detail.
  • Strong sense of responsibility, autonomy, and analytical skills.
  • Experience with OLAP and SSIS (nice to have).
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Azure (nice to have).
  • Ability to work on-site in Lisbon.
