Join our team as a Site Reliability Engineer (Hybrid – Lisbon)!

What You’ll Do:

• Provide application support with a focus on Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) best practices.
• Monitor and analyze logs, metrics, and alarms using tools like Kibana, Elasticsearch, Prometheus, and Grafana to detect and resolve issues proactively.
• Collaborate with various teams to understand distinct systems and their integration within the ecosystem.
• Propose and validate improvements to logging, metrics, and alerting systems to enhance monitoring and problem detection.
• Actively suggest enhancements to platforms and tools for day-to-day efficiency.
• Conduct root cause analysis, collecting evidence to identify and resolve complex system issues.
• Communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders, including business and engineering teams.
• Participate in an on-call rotation to ensure system reliability and uptime.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in application support with expertise in SRE methodologies.
• Proficiency with tools and technologies such as SQL, Kibana, Elasticsearch, Prometheus, Grafana, and Shell scripting.
• Familiarity with collaborative platforms like Jira, Confluence, and GitLab.
• Deep understanding of diverse systems and their interactions within complex ecosystems.
• Enthusiastic about monitoring, troubleshooting, and delivering dependable solutions.
• Forward-thinking approach to designing and validating logs, metrics, and alerts for enhanced system observability.
• Strong ability to adapt communication to various audiences, including business and engineering stakeholders.
