Join our team as a Data Engineer (Hybrid – Lisbon)!

What You’ll Do:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reliable data pipelines.
• Optimize Snowflake databases, including schema design, query optimization, and performance tuning.
• Implement ETL processes to transform raw data into actionable insights.
• Write efficient, reusable, and well-documented Python scripts for data manipulation and automation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver data solutions aligned with business needs.
• Work with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) to deploy and manage data architectures.
• Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with best practices and policies.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for data processes and workflows.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 6+ years of experience in data engineering or related fields.
• Expertise in Snowflake/SQL, with a focus on schema design, query optimization, and performance tuning.
• High proficiency in Python for data manipulation, scripting, and automation.
• Strong problem-solving skills and exceptional attention to detail.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern data architectures.
• High level of spoken and written English communication skills (B2 or above)
• Proficiency in French (optional but preferred).
• Experience with AI/GenAI tools and frameworks (nice to have).
• Knowledge of Tableau for data visualization and reporting (nice to have).
