Join our team as a Manual QA Tester (Hybrid – Lisbon, Coimbra, Braga)!

What You’ll Do:

• Design, create, and execute manual test cases to validate functional requirements.
• Perform functional, regression, and exploratory testing to ensure product quality and reliability.
• Analyze requirements and translate them into clear test scenarios and test cases.
• Identify, report, and track defects, ensuring proper documentation and follow-up.
• Create and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and execution reports.
• Conduct manual API testing to validate backend integrations and data flows.
• Use Quality Management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps (ADO), or similar platforms for test management and defect tracking.
• Collaborate closely with development and product teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Apply QA best practices and standards to continuously improve testing processes.
• Contribute to quality discussions and promote a quality-first mindset across the team.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s and Master’s degree + at least 2 years of relevant professional experience, or Bachelor’s degree + at least 5 years of relevant professional experience.
• Proven experience in manual software testing.
• Strong knowledge of test case design, execution, and documentation.
• Experience with functional, regression, and exploratory testing methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with defect management and QA tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
• Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Knowledge of QA best practices and testing standards.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
• ISTQB certification or equivalent.
• Knowledge or exposure to test automation concepts is considered a plus.
• English proficiency at a professional level (minimum B2). 
• Living in Portugal and available to work in a hybrid model.
