Join our team as a Data Governance Specialist (Hybrid – Lisbon)!

What You’ll Do:

• Develop and implement data governance policies, procedures, and standards.
• Establish a data governance framework, including roles, responsibilities, and decision rights.
• Define and monitor data quality metrics.
• Conduct regular data quality assessments and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure data is consistent, accurate, and reliable across the organization.
• Identify and appoint data stewards in various business units.
• Collaborate with data stewards to enforce data governance policies and standards.
• Provide training and support to data stewards on data governance practices.
• Ensure data governance policies comply with relevant laws and regulations.
• Identify and mitigate data governance risks.
• Develop and maintain documentation related to data governance policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in data governance, data management, or related areas.
• Experience with data governance tools and technologies.
• Strong understanding of data governance principles and practices.
• Proficiency in data quality management, data stewardship, and data lifecycle management.
• Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to data governance.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Experience with data management and business intelligence tools (e.g., SQL, Tableau, Power BI).
• Understanding of database management systems, data warehousing, and big data technologies.
• Certifications (Preferred): Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP); Data Governance and Stewardship Professional (DGSP); Certified Information Management Professional (CIMP).
