Join our team as a Senior Java Developer (Hybrid – Lisbon)!

What You’ll Do:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable backend solutions using Java 8+ and Spring Boot.
• Architect and implement high-performance RESTful APIs and enterprise-grade services.
• Contribute to system design decisions, ensuring clean architecture and best engineering practices.
• Optimize database interactions, queries, and transactions across relational databases.
• Integrate applications within containerized environments using Docker and support CI/CD automation processes.
• Collaborate in Agile/Scrum teams, actively contributing to sprint planning, reviews, and continuous improvement.
• Participate in code reviews, and promote high coding standards.
• Ensure applications meet performance, security, and maintainability standards.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Java development (Java 8 or higher).
• Strong hands-on experience with Spring Boot.
• Proven experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs.
• Solid knowledge of relational databases, including Oracle and PostgreSQL, with strong SQL skills.
• Experience working with Docker and CI/CD pipelines in modern development environments.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience with Redis or MongoDB is valued.
• Knowledge of the Apache Velocity Framework is a plus.
• Exposure to Kubernetes and/or cloud environments is a plus.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving mindset, and attention to code quality.
• English proficiency at a professional level (minimum B2).
• Living in Portugal and available to work in a hybrid model in Lisbon.
