Join our team as a Senior Data Scientist (Hybrid – Lisbon)!

What You’ll Do:

• Design and develop high-complexity analytical models, including combinatorial models and deep learning over structured and unstructured data (at rest).
• Implement analytical solutions using Python and/or R, leveraging cloud PaaS services (preferably Azure).
• Use advanced analytics and machine learning libraries such as TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch or Caffe.
• Develop models and applications integrating Generative AI (LLMs, diffusion models) into real production workflows (text generation, summarization, contextual classification, image generation, intelligent agents or copilots).
• Build robust end-to-end pipelines covering data preprocessing, fine-tuning of foundation models (e.g. LLaMA, Mistral, T5), evaluation using appropriate metrics (BLEU, ROUGE, perplexity), and controlled deployment (e.g. APIs).
• Ensure best practices in machine learning engineering, model lifecycle management and production readiness.

Qualifications:

• • Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related field.
  • Between 2 to 5 years of professional experience in advanced analytics, machine learning or AI-related projects.
  • Proven experience in machine learning projects, including model development, deployment to production environments and lifecycle management.
  • Strong experience with machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorFlow.
  • Experience working with relational and NoSQL databases.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary and global teams.
  • Commitment to delivery quality and engineering best practices.
