Join our team as a Data Engineer (Hybrid – Lisbon/Porto)!

What You’ll Do:

• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes.
• Work with Google BigQuery, Snowflake, and Databricks to manage and analyze large datasets.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries for data extraction and transformation.
• Use Python for data manipulation, automation, and complex data processing tasks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
• Utilize Power BI to create interactive and insightful data visualizations and reports.
• Ensure data quality and integrity through rigorous testing and validation procedures.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues, ensuring high performance and reliability of data systems.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve data engineering practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+years of experience as a Data Engineer.
• Extensive experience with Google BigQuery, Snowflake, and Databricks.
• Proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation.
• Strong Python programming skills for data processing and automation.
• Experience with Power BI for data visualization and reporting.
• Knowledge of ETL processes and tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment and communicate with cross-functional teams.
• Fluent in Portuguese and English, both oral and written.
