Join our team as a Data Analyst (Hybrid – Oeiras)!
What You’ll Do:
- Gather and analyze business requirements in collaboration with stakeholders and business teams
- Translate functional requirements into scalable and user-friendly Power BI dashboards and reports
- Design, develop, and optimize data models to support analytics and reporting needs
- Create, maintain, and improve KPIs and business metrics using DAX
- Connect and integrate Power BI with multiple data sources, including SQL Server, APIs, Excel/CSV files, and cloud platforms
- Develop and maintain centralized datasets and reporting solutions across different business areas
- Publish, manage, and support Power BI reports and dashboards within Power BI Service
- Optimize dataset and report performance to ensure efficiency and scalability
- Apply best practices related to usability, governance, security, and performance
- Conduct requirements-gathering workshops and work directly with business users to understand analytical needs
- Collaborate with Data Engineering and Data Platform teams to support analytics architecture evolution
- Contribute to continuous improvement of BI processes, reporting standards, and governance practices
Qualifications:
- Strong professional experience with Power BI, including Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, DAX, and Power Query/M
- Solid experience in data modeling, including Star Schema, Fact and Dimension models, and data relationships
- Strong SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases
- Experience integrating data from multiple sources such as SQL Server, APIs, Excel/CSV files, and cloud data platforms
- Proven experience optimizing Power BI datasets, reports, and dashboards for performance and scalability
- Knowledge of Power BI governance, security, and best practices implementation
- Ability to translate business and functional requirements into analytical and reporting solutions
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience facilitating requirements-gathering sessions and workshops
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
- Autonomous, proactive, and results-oriented approach
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional technical and business teams
- English proficiency at a professional level (minimum B2).
- Availability to work in a hybrid model in Oeiras.
