Join our team as a System Engineer (Hybrid – Aveiro)!
What You’ll Do:
- Assess on-premises environments using Azure Migrate and define tailored strategies (rehosting, re-platforming, refactoring).
- Plan and execute migrations from on-premises infrastructures to cloud and hybrid environments (Azure, VMware).
- Deploy and manage Azure networking components such as NSGs, Firewalls, and VNETs, maintaining security and performance standards.
- Manage and troubleshoot Azure virtual machines, networking, and cloud infrastructure.
- Leverage tools like Azure Migrate and VMware HCX to ensure seamless cloud transitions.
- Collaborate with internal IT teams to minimize downtime and ensure maximum performance.
- Provide expert guidance to clients, ensuring secure, scalable, and efficient cloud environments.
- Monitor systems and implement best practices to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation and contribute to the improvement of infrastructure processes.
- Stay up-to-date with cloud trends and bring innovation to every migration and deployment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in system engineering or IT infrastructure roles.
- Strong proficiency in VMware, Hyper-V, Windows Server, Unix, Active Directory, Horizon/Citrix, and networking.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and cloud migration strategies.
- Working knowledge of Azure networking (VNets, NSGs, Application Gateways) and Azure Virtual Desktop.
- Familiarity with cloud migration tools like Azure Migrate and VMware HCX.
- Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
- Proactive mindset and a strong team player.
- English proficiency required.
