Join our team as a Storage Architect (Hybrid – Lisbon)!

What You’ll Do:

• Design, implement, and optimize scalable, reliable, and cost-effective data storage solutions.
• Develop and document storage architectures, including SAN, NAS, DAS, cloud storage, and object storage systems.
• Lead the implementation of storage solutions, ensuring smooth integration with existing systems.
• Oversee data migration processes, ensuring minimal downtime and preserving data integrity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy and sustain storage solutions aligned with IT infrastructure needs.
• Design and implement disaster recovery strategies and solutions.
• Provide Level 3 technical support, resolving complex storage-related issues and preventing future occurrences.
• Analyze storage performance and optimize systems to enhance efficiency.
• Deliver technical presentations, Proof of Concept (POC) demonstrations, and hands-on integration of storage technologies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in storage architecture, design, and implementation.
• Strong proficiency in storage technologies (SAN, NAS, DAS, cloud storage, object storage).
• Hands-on experience with storage management tools (e.g., NetApp, Dell EMC, HPE, VMware vSAN, AWS S3, Azure Blob Storage).
• Working knowledge of integration and sustenance of technologies such as iSCSI, FCoE, SAN, NAS, Kubernetes, and containerization.
• Familiarity with disaster recovery planning, data security, and compliance standards.
• Proficiency in scripting/automation (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for storage management.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Experience with cloud environments (AWS, GCP) and hybrid storage solutions is a plus.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., NetApp Certified Data Administrator, AWS Solutions Architect) are a nice-to-have.
