Join our team as a System Adminstrator (On-site – Lisbon)!

What You’ll Do:

• Administer Windows and Linux servers in on-premises environments.
• Manage Windows services, including: Active Directory (AD), DNS and DHCP, File Server, Exchange Server, SQL Server, Certification Authority (CA), DirectAccess, Windows Server Update Services (WSUS), SCCM, MDT, IIS
• Administer Linux services, including: MariaDB, PHP, Apache, High Availability solutions
• Manage VMware virtualization platforms, including: VMware vCenter, VMware ESXi, VMware vSAN, Omnissa Horizon View
• Administer Veeam backup and replication solutions.
• Manage and support Windows 10 and Windows 11 workstations.
• Administer central IT infrastructure, including: Servers, NAS storage, Disk-based backup storage, Tape-based backup storage, Network/interconnection switches, Dell and HP infrastructure management solutions
• Manage email and communication systems, including: External email relays, On-premises Exchange Server, Microsoft Teams
• Administer and support other IT solutions managed by the IT department.
• Monitor and optimize the IT infrastructure and its individual components.
• Diagnose, manage, and resolve incidents and service requests.
• Document: Systems and configurations, Procedures, Incidents, Problems, Resolutions
• Participate in the design, planning, and implementation of server architectures and IT solutions.
• Monitor applications, servers, and infrastructure equipment.
• Contribute to initiatives aimed at improving the maturity, reliability, and efficiency of the IT environment.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of professional experience in Systems Administration.
• Strong knowledge of systems administration, particularly Windows environments.
• Solid experience with Windows Server administration and Microsoft infrastructure services.
• Knowledge of IT security best practices.
• Knowledge of ITIL concepts and practices.
• Good understanding of IP networking fundamentals.
• Experience with PowerShell and/or batch scripting.
• Experience troubleshooting and resolving technical issues with external support/vendor teams.
• Ability and willingness to learn and administer new technologies and solutions.
• Strong sense of responsibility, autonomy, and initiative.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and troubleshooting skills.
