Join our team as a Senior DBA (Hybrid – Porto)!

What You’ll Do:

• Utilize scripting languages such as PSQL, TSQL, SQL, PL/SQL, shell scripting, Perl, PowerShell, and Python to manage and optimize database operations.
• Manage and maintain databases on Linux/Unix and Windows operating systems.
• Participate in international projects, providing 360° support for the database layer of various services.
• Contribute to current and future technology decisions, bringing expertise and insight to influence choices.
• Ensure effective communication with both technical and business stakeholders to align on project objectives and deliverables.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience supporting mission-critical environments with PostgreSQL/EDB and MS SQL Server.
• Master’s degree in IT or equivalent work experience.
• Proficiency in scripting languages like PSQL, TSQL, SQL, PL/SQL, shell scripting, Perl, PowerShell, or Python.
• Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix and Windows operating systems.
• Familiarity with AWS RDS, AWS Redshift, Oracle, MySQL, and MySQL Cluster is preferred-
• English fluency, both written and verbal.
