What You’ll Do:
- Act as a key partner in an Agile team to ensure the delivery of high quality software.
Analyze requirements and user stories critically, identifying potential gaps and collaborating with the Product Owner.
- Define test strategies for new features and architecture changes.
- Writing and executing test cases, ensuring good coverage of automated tests.
- Supporting programmers in implementing and integrating test cases.
- Carrying out structured exploratory tests to identify potential problems.
- Assist with release management in a CI/CD environment, maintaining a quality-oriented approach.
- Analyze and report defects, ensuring that they are properly prioritized and resolved.
- Collaborate with teams in Scotland and the United States to support end-to-end integration and testing efforts.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
- More than 4 years’ experience as a QA engineer with a focus on automated testing.
- Strong knowledge of automated testing tools (preferably Cucumber, but experience with Selenium, JUnit or TestNG is also valid).
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, JavaScript) and programming languages (Java, C#).
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI) and version control systems (Git).
- Familiarity with test management tools (e.g., Xray).
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail and collaboration skills.
- Fluent in Portuguese and English (C1 level required).
