Join our team as a Python Developer (Hybrid – Lisbon, Braga, Coimbra)!
What You’ll Do:
- Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable data pipelines and backend systems using Python and Airflow.
- Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and product teams to integrate and optimize workflows on GCP.
- Write efficient SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data from various sources.
- Monitor, debug, and improve the performance and reliability of data workflows and services.
- Participate in code reviews, contribute to technical decisions, and support best practices across the team.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience with Python development, particularly in backend or data-focused projects.
- Hands-on experience with Airflow for building and managing ETL/ELT workflows.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and working with relational databases (e.g., BigQuery, PostgreSQL).
- Practical experience with GCP services such as Cloud Composer, BigQuery, Cloud Functions, or Cloud Storage.
- Understanding of software development best practices, CI/CD, and version control (e.g., Git).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
- English proficiency.
