Join our team as a Project Manager (Hybrid – Porto)!

What You’ll Do:

• Lead and deliver multiple IT initiatives within a Finance Transformation Program, from initiation through transition to BAU
• Manage end-to-end project delivery, ensuring clear scope, timelines, budgets and quality standards
• Oversee multiple concurrent projects and workstreams, managing interdependencies across teams, vendors and locations
• Coordinate and manage external vendors and implementation partners, ensuring alignment with project objectives and delivery plans
• Translate strategic objectives into actionable project plans, covering specification, implementation, testing and deployment
• Plan and manage project resources, anticipating capacity and skills gaps and triggering sourcing where required
• Maintain project governance artefacts, including plans, budgets, status reports and change control
• Proactively identify, log and escalate risks, issues and constraints, defining and tracking mitigation actions
• Prevent scope creep and ensure adherence to agreed delivery commitments
• Establish and execute project communication plans, providing clear and regular updates to stakeholders, governance bodies and program leadership
• Ensure solution quality and compliance by coordinating SIT, UAT, data validation and traceability to acceptance criteria
• Drive formal project close-out activities, including stakeholder sign-off, documentation of outcomes and lessons learned

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field
• Professional Project Management certification (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2, PMI-ACP or equivalent) is highly valued
• Proven experience in IT Project Management, ideally within large-scale, multi-vendor and multi-location environments
• Strong understanding of IT processes, software development lifecycles and technical components
• Solid knowledge of project management methodologies: waterfall and agile
• Experience with project governance frameworks, including status reporting, change control and risk management
• Foundational knowledge of finance and accounting principles (strong advantage)
• Demonstrated ability to manage stakeholders across business and technical teams
• Excellent communication, coordination and leadership skills in complex environments
• Fluent English (minimum C1 level)
• Living in Portugal and available to work in a hybrid model.
