Join our team as a OpenShift Container Engineer (Hybrid – Lisbon)!
What You’ll Do:
- Design, define, and implement governance and operating models for Red Hat OpenShift container platforms.
- Participate in enterprise-level OpenShift projects, covering both governance definition and operational execution.
- Perform technical assessments of OpenShift environments, including licensing, costs, configurations, environments, and user access models.
- Define and document operational processes for platform usage, administration, support, and monitoring.
- Contribute to the definition of Center of Excellence (CoE) structures for container platforms.
- Establish security mechanisms, operational procedures, and responsibility models.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements, including GDPR and the European AI Regulation.
- Define monitoring strategies, KPIs, and service management models.
- Support the configuration and management of development, testing, and production environments.
- Collaborate with IT, security, and business teams to ensure platform stability, scalability, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Strong experience with Red Hat OpenShift, including platform architecture and administration.
- Proven experience in OpenShift container projects (governance and operationalization) completed within the last 3 years.
- Solid understanding of container platform governance models and enterprise operating frameworks.
- Experience performing technical and licensing assessments of container platforms.
- Knowledge of security, compliance, and regulatory frameworks, ideally within regulated environments.
- Experience defining operational models, support processes, and monitoring practices.
- Familiarity with service management, KPIs, and continuous improvement practices.
- Strong documentation, communication, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
- English proficiency at a professional level (B2).
- Living in Portugal and available to work in a hybrid model.
