Join our team as a Kubernetes Infrastructure Specialist (Hybrid – Lisbon)!

What You’ll Do:

• Lead the design and implementation of enterprise-grade Kubernetes platforms, ensuring scalability, high availability, and security across environments.
• Define and promote standards, best practices, and governance models for container platforms and DevOps pipelines.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, production, and security teams to build and evolve a robust containerized ecosystem.
• Drive the transformation of DevOps practices by contributing to the design and implementation of automated infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.
• Support and guide application teams in migrating workloads to Kubernetes-based platforms, ensuring smooth adoption and operational excellence.
• Design and manage Kubernetes clusters, including sizing, high availability, IAM integration, and automated deployment processes.
• Implement and optimize networking solutions within Kubernetes environments, including SDN and CNI technologies such as Calico or Cilium.
• Manage backup and disaster recovery strategies using tools like Velero, ensuring data protection and platform resilience.
• Oversee persistent storage solutions, including technologies such as CEPH and Portworx.
• Contribute to CI/CD ecosystem evolution using tools such as ArgoCD and Kustomize.
• Participate in architectural decisions, evaluate new technologies, and contribute to the overall cloud and container strategy.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Kubernetes infrastructure, including cluster design, deployment, and operations in production environments.
• Solid understanding of container networking concepts and experience with CNI solutions such as Calico or Cilium.
• Experience with backup and recovery solutions for Kubernetes environments, such as Velero.
• Knowledge of persistent storage solutions and volume management, including CEPH, Portworx, or similar technologies.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD and GitOps tools such as ArgoCD and Kustomize.
• Proficiency in Python for automation, scripting, or tooling development.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, infrastructure automation, and platform engineering concepts.
• Experience working in Agile environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Strong autonomy, proactive mindset, and ability to take ownership of technical initiatives.
• Knowledge of Azure or other cloud platforms is considered a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• English proficiency at a professional level (minimum B2).
• Living in Portugal and available to work in a hybrid model.
