Join our team as a Kubernetes Engineer – Cloud & Infrastructure (Hybrid – Lisbon)!
What You’ll Do:
- Implement, manage, and scale containerized applications using Kubernetes
- Work with automation tools like Ansible and Terraform, and apply Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices to provision and manage infrastructure
- Utilize programming and scripting skills (Python, Ruby, Shell) to automate tasks and create CI/CD pipelines
- Manage configuration and monitoring tools (Grafana) to ensure system performance and availability
- Collaborate with cloud computing platforms such as AWS and Azure, integrating Kubernetes with these platforms
- Work in a dynamic, multicultural environment, delivering efficient support and clear communication
- Apply Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) to work effectively in an agile development environment
- Integrate security best practices into the development and operations processes
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Kubernetes, including application implementation, management, and scalability in containers
- Experience with automation tools such as Ansible, Terraform, and IaC practices for infrastructure management
- Strong knowledge of programming and scripting languages like Python, Ruby, and Shell for task automation and CI/CD pipelines
- Knowledge in configuration management and monitoring tools (Grafana) to ensure system performance and availability
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms like AWS and Azure, and integrating Kubernetes with them
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills for effective collaboration with developers
- Understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and the ability to work in agile development environments
- Strong security knowledge and the ability to integrate security into development and operations processes
