Field Support Engineer

Join our team as a Field Support Engineer (On-Site – Lisbon)!

What You’ll Do:

  • Act as the on-site point of contact for workplace IT support, ensuring timely resolution of user incidents and requests.
  • Provide face-to-face support for devices, applications, connectivity, and peripherals.
  • Prepare, deploy, and configure devices including laptops, monitors, docking stations, and headsets.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to Windows 10/11 workstations, network connectivity (LAN/Wi-Fi), printers, meeting room equipment, and other peripherals.
  • Support meeting room and collaboration tools, ensuring AV equipment operates correctly.
  • Coordinate with remote infrastructure or Azure administrators for escalations related to Intune, identity management, or security policies.
  • Maintain and update the IT asset inventory, ensuring accurate tracking of devices, warranties, and stock levels.
  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including device preparation, account setup, and equipment handover.
  • Perform basic network troubleshooting such as switch ports, patch panels, and Wi-Fi connectivity issues.
  • Contribute to documentation and operational processes related to internal IT support activities.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in end-user IT support, including VIP or executive support environments.
  • Hands-on experience with device preparation, deployment, and troubleshooting, including imaging and hardware diagnostics.
  • Strong experience supporting Windows 10/11 environments.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications and basic administration tasks such as password resets, MFA assistance, and mailbox support.
  • Familiarity with Modern Workplace technologies, including Azure Active Directory (Azure AD / Entra ID), Microsoft Intune, Autopilot deployment workflows, Microsoft Defender, SharePoint Online, and OneDrive for Business.
  • Basic networking knowledge, including LAN/Wi-Fi troubleshooting.
  • Strong customer service orientation and excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently in an on-site support environment.
  • Professional presence and interpersonal skills suited for VIP and client-facing interactions.
  • Living in Portugal and available to work On-site in Lisbon.
