Join our team as an Embedded Systems Engineer (Hybrid – Lisbon)!

What You’ll Do:

• Develop hardware for real-time embedded devices used in power systems protection, automation, and control.
• Participate in the full development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, and documentation.
• Design and develop analog and digital hardware, including schematic creation and collaboration in PCB layout.
• Prepare technical documentation and hardware test plans.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and HW/FW integration issues, performing debugging and validation.
• Work within an R&D team in a collaborative, informal, and dynamic environment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in embedded systems (hardware and firmware).
• Experience with hardware design, circuit simulation, and laboratory instrumentation.
• Proficiency in C/C++ programming.
• Experience in schematic design, PCB layout (preferably OrCAD/Allegro), and production deliverables (SCH/PCB, Gerbers, BoMs, etc.).
• Knowledge of analog electronics, microelectronics, and microcontrollers.
• Team-oriented, self-organized, results-driven, and proactive.
• Strong problem-solving skills and passion for continuous learning.
• Knowledge of EMI/EMC concepts is a strong plus.
• Familiarity with communication technologies and power systems is valued.
• Portuguese and English proficiency at a professional level (minimum B2).
• Living in Portugal and available to work in a hybrid model.
