Join our team as a Data&AI Platform/Solution Architect (Hybrid – Lisbon)!
- Model business requirements—data-oriented—into a normalized, denormalized, star schema, or other data models according to objectives.
- Model business requirements into non-tabular data models, such as columnar, graph, geographic, time series, or document-based models.
- Model business requirements including data streams and integrations (API schema, CRUD API).
- Design and implement reference data architectures aligned with data management strategy requirements.
- Design and implement blueprints for an organizational data framework, defining how data is acquired, stored, consumed, integrated, and managed to enrich the company’s Data Lakes, MDU, and Data Marts.
- Define observability indicators for DataOps
- Ensure technical functionalities such as scalability, security, performance, data recovery, and reliability.
- Prepare reports on business process performance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- + 5 years of experience ins the area.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of the Energy & Utilities market and GDPR (preferred).
- Ability to work in a collaborative environment with global teams.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of Agile methodology, JIRA, and Confluence (preferred).
- Commitment to high-quality deliverables.
- Experience in strategic projects (preferred).
- Language proficiency (written and spoken): English: Mandatory, Portuguese: Preferred, Spanish: Preferred
- Up-to-date knowledge of databases and analytical technologies, including Data Lake/Lakehouse architectures and NoSQL storage.
- Experience with cloud platforms (one or more: AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
- Knowledge of data governance and data security practices.
- Understanding of Machine Learning, algorithms, and statistical models (e.g., classification, time series analysis, regression).
- Experience in metadata management, data catalogs, data standards, and master data management best practices.
- Experience with Big Data databases (one or more: BigQuery, Azure Synapse, AWS RedShift, Cassandra, Couchbase, HDFS).
- Must be based in Portugal; hybrid work model
- DAMA certification is a plus.
