Join our team as a Data Scientist (Hybrid – Lisbon)!

What You’ll Do:

• Design and build high-complexity analytical models, including combinatorial models and deep learning approaches applied to structured and unstructured data.
• Implement models in R or Python, leveraging cloud PaaS services (preferably Azure) and advanced analytics frameworks such as TensorFlow, Keras, Caffe, or PyTorch.
• Develop GenAI-integrated models and applications, incorporating LLMs or diffusion models into real-world workflows (e.g., text generation, summarization, contextual classification, image creation, autonomous agents, or intelligent copilots).
• Build robust ML pipelines covering data preprocessing, fine-tuning base models (e.g., LLaMA, Mistral, T5), evaluation with domain-specific metrics (BLEU, ROUGE, perplexity), and controlled deployment (e.g., via API), following best practices in ML engineering and GenAI integration.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in machine learning projects, from model development to deployment and lifecycle management.
• Strong knowledge of ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow).
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, critical thinking, and problem-solving mindset.
• Ability to work collaboratively in global and cross-functional teams.
• Commitment to delivery quality and technical excellence.
• Valued experience and knowledge in:
• Energy & Utilities market and GDPR;
• Agile methodologies, JIRA, and Confluence;
• Strategic projects and interactive data visualization solutions.
• Highly valued: hands-on experience developing AI-driven analytical solutions and integrating GenAI models into real-world applications.
