Join our team as a Data Engineer (Hybrid – Lisbon)!

What You’ll Do:

• Architect, build, and maintain a Lakehouse solution leveraging Microsoft Fabric.
• Design and implement ETL/ELT workflows to efficiently ingest and transform data.
• Diagnose and resolve data inconsistencies, ensuring data integrity through robust monitoring strategies.
• Enhance the performance and scalability of data pipelines, optimizing query execution and resource utilization.
• Guarantee security, reliability, and accessibility of the Lakehouse, applying best practices for governance and compliance.
• Develop interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI, providing real-time and historical business insights.
• Support and maintain on-premises SQL Server Data Warehouse when required, ensuring seamless operations and data migrations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in data engineering, specializing in Lakehouse or Data Warehouse architectures.
• Proficiency in SQL, Microsoft Fabric Lakehouse tools (Data Engineering, Synapse Real-Time Analytics), and Power BI.
• Strong expertise in DAX Language and Semantic Models.
• Hands-on experience in Python or R for advanced data processing and automation.
• Background in DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines for Microsoft Fabric.
• Understanding of Medallion Architecture and its application in structuring Lakehouse data.
• Experience working with on-premises SQL Server databases, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
• Fluent in English, both oral and written.
