Join our team as a Data Engineer Master (Hybrid – Lisbon)!

What You’ll Do:

• Own the design and evolution of large-scale data pipelines on Snowflake, supporting Customer 360 / CDP use cases
• Lead technical decisions and review the work of other data engineers
• Build robust ETL/ELT pipelines (incremental loads, error handling, safe re-runs) using SQL and Python
• Model customer data using dimensional models (facts & dimensions, events, identities, behaviour)
• Integrate data from CRM, ecommerce, analytics, POS and customer support systems
• Enable data activation into MarTech / CDP platforms (e.g. Braze, Salesforce Marketing Cloud)
• Optimize Snowflake performance and cost (query tuning, clustering, warehouse sizing)
• Ensure data quality, monitoring and alerting across pipelines
• Challenge requirements and propose simpler, scalable and cost-efficient solutions

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience as a Data Engineer, with 3+ years in a senior/lead role
• Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake (tasks, streams, Time Travel, performance & cost optimization)
• Very strong SQL and solid Python skills
• Experience designing ETL/ELT pipelines and customer-centric data models
• Background in Customer 360 / CDP and retail or ecommerce environments
• Experience working in cloud environments (Azure, AWS or GCP)
• Familiarity with orchestration tools (ADF, Airflow, dbt or similar) and CI/CD (Git-based workflows)
• Strong ownership mindset, clear communication skills and focus on data quality and efficiency
