Join our team as a Cloud & Data Platform Engineer (Azure AI/ML e Microsoft Fabric) (Hybrid – Lisbon)!
What You’ll Do:
- Design, implement, and evolve the Microsoft Fabric data platform, supporting new capabilities and platform improvements.
- Manage Microsoft Fabric workspaces, capacities, permissions, gateways, and data governance.
- Configure connectivity and integrations with data sources, including SQL through on-premises and cloud gateways.
- Develop automation solutions for workspace provisioning and integration with CMDB and ITSM processes.
- Support and maintain Azure AI and Machine Learning platforms, including AI Hub, AI Projects, models, and deployments.
- Administer Azure Machine Learning workspaces, managing access, configurations, networking, and incident resolution.
- Act as the technical bridge between Azure Platform Engineering and Data Science teams, translating requirements into technical solutions.
- Provision and maintain cloud infrastructure using Terraform and existing Infrastructure as Code templates.
- Handle platform requests involving access provisioning, resource adjustments, private endpoints, and network configurations.
- Collaborate with Data, Architecture, and Infrastructure teams to support data ingestion and new platform requirements.
- Ensure platform governance, security, operational stability, documentation, and compliance with established standards.
Qualifications:
- Mandatory experience with Microsoft Fabric – particularly: Workspaces and Capacities management; Gateways and data source connectivity; Permissions and Data Governance; Platform administration, configuration, and automation.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure, particularly: Azure Machine Learning; Azure AI Foundry / AI Hub; Azure networking (VNets, Private Endpoints, proxies and whitelisting); Identity and Access Management (IAM).
- Experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Knowledge of container platforms such as OpenShift, particularly for AI workloads.
- Experience with ITSM processes, including service requests, change management, and CMDB management.
- Experience working in regulated environments, following governance and compliance requirements.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with technical and business stakeholders.
- Ability to bridge the gap between Platform Engineering and Data Science teams.
- Autonomy in managing platform support, maintenance, and troubleshooting activities.
- Strong attention to detail, documentation, and process compliance.
- Team-oriented mindset and ability to contribute to the delivery of new platform capabilities.
- Fluent in portuguese.
- Based in Portugal with valid documentation.
