Join our team as a Cloud Automation Engineer (Hybrid – Lisbon)!

What You’ll Do:

• Design and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions to automate Azure resources supporting Microsoft Fabric workloads (Data Factory, Synapse, Power BI, Lakehouse, etc.).
• Develop and maintain reusable automation templates using Terraform, ensuring consistent and scalable deployments.
• Manage and orchestrate deployments using tools such as Env0.
• Collaborate closely with architects and data engineering teams to define infrastructure requirements and validate architectural decisions.
• Automate configuration management processes (using Ansible, when applicable).
• Support infrastructure analysis, architecture validation, and optimization initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with cloud security, governance, and cost-efficiency best practices.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and maintain task visibility through Jira.
• Document infrastructure designs, automation workflows, and operational procedures.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience automating Azure infrastructure for data and analytics platforms.
• Proficiency in Terraform for IaC and deployment automation.
• Solid scripting experience in PowerShell and/or Python.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
• Understanding of Microsoft Fabric architecture and its supporting infrastructure.
• Familiarity with Azure networking, identity, monitoring, and security.
• Experience working in Agile environments with Jira.
• Experience with Ansible for configuration management is a plus.
• AZ-900 certification.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Collaborative and proactive mindset, with a passion for automation and continuous improvement.
• Portuguese and English proficiency at a professional level (minimum B2).
• Living in Portugal and available to work in a hybrid model.
