Join our team as a Citrix Engineer (Hybrid – Lisbon)!

What You’ll Do:

• Design, implement, and manage Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD) environments across on-premises, hybrid, and cloud infrastructures;
• Configure, maintain, and optimize Citrix ADC (NetScaler) for load balancing, secure remote access, and application delivery;
• Implement secure access solutions including TLS VPNs, MFA, and other authentication mechanisms to protect enterprise environments;
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to Citrix environments, including session performance, application delivery, and availability;
• Continuously improve end-user experience by tuning Citrix policies, profiles, and resource allocation strategies;
• Leverage tools such as ControlUp and Citrix Director to proactively monitor system performance and identify optimization opportunities;
• Deploy and manage ControlUp dashboards to gain real-time insights and automate performance improvements;
• Generate and analyze performance and usage reports to support decision-making and continuous optimization;
• Ensure compliance with security standards, data protection policies, and access control requirements;
• Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to integrate Citrix solutions within enterprise ecosystems;
• Provide technical support, knowledge sharing, and documentation to ensure efficient platform operation and scalability.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience working with Citrix environments, with strong expertise in Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD) and Citrix ADC (NetScaler).
• Proven experience in designing, deploying, and administering Citrix infrastructures in enterprise environments.
• Strong knowledge of application delivery, load balancing, and secure remote access architectures.
• Hands-on experience implementing security controls such as TLS VPN, MFA, and access policies.
• Experience with monitoring and performance tools such as ControlUp and Citrix Director, including dashboard configuration and reporting.
• Solid troubleshooting skills across Citrix environments, including performance tuning and incident resolution.
• Good understanding of user experience optimization within virtual desktop infrastructures (VDI).
• Experience ensuring compliance with security and regulatory standards.
• Strong documentation skills and ability to maintain operational procedures and best practices.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to support both technical teams and end users.
• Proactive mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• English proficiency at a professional level (minimum B2).
• Living in Portugal and available to work in a hybrid model.
