Join our team as a Banking IT Project Manager (Hybrid – Lisbon)!

What You’ll Do:

• Lead and coordinate Banking IT and Finance-related projects, ensuring alignment between business and technical teams;
• Manage project scope, planning, budget, risks, and delivery timelines;
• Analyze and support the definition of user requirements, including regulatory and banking standards documentation;
• Prepare, facilitate, and document workshops, steering committees, and project follow-up meetings;
•  Participate in solution design and oversee implementation phases;
• Produce project deliverables such as functional specifications, testing strategies, user manuals, and training materials;
• Coordinate and supervise user acceptance testing (UAT) and production deployments;
• Ensure operational support, corrective maintenance, and continuous improvement of banking applications;
• Guarantee quality assurance and compliance with project methodologies and banking regulations;
• Monitor financial flows integration, including SEPA/SWIFT formats and interbank exchange protocols;
• Prepare reporting and governance documentation for stakeholders and management.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, or related fields;
• Proven experience as an IT Project Manager within Banking or Financial Services environments;
• Strong knowledge of Cash Management, Treasury, Leasing, Factoring, and Banking Financial Flows;
• Experience with ERP/CRM solutions such as SAGE, SAGE XRT, SAGE SBE, or ARPSON;
• Good understanding of system architecture, APIs, databases, and middleware integrations;
• Experience with Agile/SCRUM methodologies and project management practices (Prince2/PMP is a plus);
• Knowledge of SQL and project management/support tools such as Jira, Confluence, Power BI, and Excel;
• Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills;
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deployments simultaneously under pressure;
• Strong problem-solving mindset and attention to detail;
• Fluent French is mandatory.
