What You’ll Do:
- Design, develop and implement scalable, robust and secure backend services using TypeScript.
- Create and manage databases, defining schemas, queries and transactions to support application functionality.
- Work closely with frontend developers, product managers and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration.
- Ensure high performance and responsiveness of applications by optimizing server-side logic and database queries.
- Conduct code reviews and provide mentoring to junior developers.
- Specifying and executing unit and integration tests, identifying and resolving bugs and performance problems.
- Keeping up to date with the latest industry trends, ensuring the adoption of best practices in backend development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- +5 years’ experience in backend development.
- Proven experience with TypeScript and JavaScript.
- Knowledge of backend frameworks such as Node.js or NestJS.
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB).Proficiency in building RESTful APIs.
- Familiarity with version control tools (Git).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Fluency in Portuguese (native) and English (C1).
