Join our team as an AI-Driven Tester (Hybrid – Porto)!

What You’ll Do:

• Design and execute comprehensive integration test plans, including automated regression strategies.
• Perform backend and middleware testing to validate interface behavior against design specifications.
• Use AI-driven testing tools to automate test case generation, anomaly detection, and regression validation.
• Validate AI components embedded in trading or financial platforms, applying machine learning models to predict failures and optimize coverage.
• Conduct deep root cause analysis, leveraging logs, diagnostic tools, and collaboration with development teams.
• Identify, document, and track defects, ensuring fixes are validated through structured regression cycles.
• Produce detailed testing reports, quality metrics, and risk assessments with AI-enhanced insights.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and mentor junior QA engineers.
• Promote AI-powered quality practices across teams and contribute to innovation in testing methodologies.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in backend or middleware testing.
• Strong expertise in integration testing and regression testing within distributed systems.
• Experience working in banking or brokerage environments (strongly preferred).
• Hands-on experience with AI/ML-based testing tools, including automated test generation and anomaly detection.
• Proven experience in root cause analysis, log investigation, and system diagnostics.
• Experience working in Linux environments, including shell commands, scripting, process management, and troubleshooting.
• Practical knowledge of test automation using Python.
• Strong reporting, risk assessment, and analytical skills.
• English proficiency at a professional level (minimum B2); French is a plus (intermediate level desirable).
• Living in Portugal and available to work in a hybrid model.
