Join our team as a Virtualization Engineer (Hybrid – Lisbon)!
What You’ll Do:
- Design, implement, and maintain VMware-based virtualization environments, including vCenter, vSphere, vSAN, and SRM.
- Manage and operate VMware Cloud solutions, including Azure VMware Solution (AVS) and VMware on Cloud.
- Administer and optimize VMware clusters hosting Windows and Linux workloads.
- Support and integrate identity and access services, including AD Connect, Azure AD, and ADFS.
- Manage core infrastructure services such as DNS, DHCP, GPOs, and certificate services.
- Administer Exchange On-Premises and Exchange Online, as well as Microsoft 365 services.
- Design, deploy, and maintain VDI environments using VMware Horizon and App Volumes.
- Support Remote Desktop Services (RDS) environments.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize virtualized environments to ensure high availability and performance.
- Maintain technical documentation and contribute to infrastructure best practices and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience with Windows and Virtualized environments.
- Strong hands-on experience with VMware technologies: vCenter, vSphere, vSAN, SRM, VMware on Cloud, and Azure VMware Solution (AVS).
- Proven experience managing VMware clusters in mixed Windows and Linux environments.
- Solid knowledge of Active Directory, Azure AD, AD Connect, and ADFS.
- Experience with DNS, DHCP, GPO, and certificate management.
- Experience administering Exchange On-Premises, Exchange Online, and Microsoft 365.
- Hands-on experience with VDI technologies, including VMware Horizon and App Volumes.
- Experience with Remote Desktop Services (RDS).
- Familiarity with infrastructure management tools such as OneView.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Team-oriented mindset, strong communication skills, and a proactive attitude.
- Focus on reliability, security, and operational excellence.
- English proficiency at a professional level (minimum B2).
- Living in Portugal and available to work in a hybrid model.
