Join our team as a Senior Data Scientist (Hybrid – Lisbon)!

What You’ll Do:

• Design and implement advanced machine learning and deep learning models
• Lead the development of production-level data science solutions
• Drive experimentation, model evaluation, and optimization strategies
• Work closely with stakeholders to translate business goals into analytical solutions
• Define and implement MLOps best practices, including monitoring and retraining
• Leverage big data platforms to scale model training and inference
• Mentor mid and junior data scientists and promote technical excellence
• Communicate insights and recommendations to technical and executive audiences
• Drive innovation and contribute to the long-term evolution of data platforms

Qualifications:

• Advanced Python for Machine Learning / Deep Learning (NumPy, pandas, scikit-learn, PyTorch/TensorFlow)
• 5+ years of experience in Data Science environments
• Strong background in statistics, experimental design, and causal inference
• Proven experience building and scaling complex ML/DL models in production
• Experience with ML experimentation tools (MLflow, W&B, Databricks ML)
• Advanced SQL skills for large-scale data manipulation
• Strong understanding of MLOps workflows (deployment, monitoring, drift management, retraining)
• Experience with big data platforms (Spark, Databricks)
• Experience with cloud ML platforms (Azure ML, AWS SageMaker, GCP Vertex AI)
• Strong data visualization and storytelling skills for executive audiences
• Strong strategic and analytical thinking
• Ability to evaluate trade-offs and make sound technical decisions
• Excellent communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Strong mentoring and leadership skills
• Ability to break down complex, ambiguous problems into solutions
• Ownership mindset and proactive approach
• Collaborative mindset across cross-functional teams
• Degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Machine Learning, or related field
• Proven track record in building production-level data solutions
• Experience mentoring teams and driving technical standards
• English proficiency (minimum B2)
