Join our team as a Red Hat Openshift Administrator (Hybrid – Lisbon, Porto)!

What You’ll Do:

• Configure, deploy, manage, and maintain Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes platforms, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.
• Install, upgrade, and troubleshoot OpenShift clusters, applying best practices in cluster lifecycle management.
• Monitor platform performance, stability, and security, proactively identifying and resolving issues.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to support application containerization and container-based deployments.
• Lead troubleshooting activities across container, networking, and infrastructure layers, ensuring root cause analysis and long-term remediation.
• Manage and maintain Storage Servers and SAN infrastructure, ensuring seamless integration with OpenShift clusters.
• Ensure reliable backup strategies, disaster recovery procedures, and performance testing for platform resilience.
• Enforce security policies, governance standards, and compliance requirements across the OpenShift environment.
• Manage infrastructure changes through automation and Infrastructure as Code practices.
• Interact with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into secure and scalable platform solutions.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and configuration standards.
• Stay current with containerization trends, OpenShift advancements, and cloud-native best practices.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of proven experience in OpenShift administration within enterprise environments.
• Strong expertise in Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes architecture, including installation, configuration, upgrades, and operations.
• Solid experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) systems administration.
• Proven experience in the conceptualization, design, implementation, and operation of OpenShift platforms.
• Experience managing Storage Servers and SAN switches, with a strong understanding of storage integration in containerized environments.
• Strong knowledge of infrastructure services and networking topologies, including load balancing, DNS, routing, and security segmentation.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation practices.
• Experience integrating OpenShift with CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps workflows.
• Hands-on experience with container technologies such as Docker.
• Experience managing VMware-based virtualized infrastructures.
• Foundational knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Basic to intermediate understanding of networking and storage concepts in enterprise environments.
• Knowledge of infrastructure and OS-level security best practices.
• Experience with automation and configuration management tools such as Ansible or PowerCLI is valued.
• Cloud platform exposure (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is a plus.
• OpenShift certification (e.g., Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration) is highly valued.
• Strong planning, reporting, and documentation skills.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills (verbal and written).
• Adaptability to dynamic and evolving environments.
• Proactive mindset with strong ownership and team collaboration capabilities.
• English proficiency at a professional level (minimum B2).
• Living in Portugal and available to work in a hybrid model in Lisbon or Porto.
