Join our team as a Platform Engineer (Hybrid – Lisbon)!
What You’ll Do:
- Develop and enhance internal developer platforms using Backstage and related frameworks.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows for efficient deployments.
- Integrate container orchestration solutions (Kubernetes, Docker) into platform architecture.
- Collaborate with product teams to deliver secure, reliable, and scalable platforms.
- Drive automation strategies and adopt SRE principles for service reliability.
- Ensure observability and security are embedded in platform design.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience as a Platform Engineer or similar position.
- Strong experience with Backstage and platform engineering tools.
- Proficiency in Kubernetes, Docker, and Infrastructure as Code practices using Terraform.
- Solid understanding of CI/CD methodologies and modern software delivery pipelines.
- Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and incident response frameworks.
- Exposure to cloud-native environments and multi-cloud strategies.
- Knowledge of security best practices for platform engineering.
- Portuguese and English proficiency at a professional level (minimum B2).
- Living in Portugal and available to work in a hybrid model.
