Join our team as a Network Engineer (Remote – Portugal based)!

What You’ll Do:

• Manage and operate data center network infrastructures, ensuring high availability, resilience, and service continuity.
• Perform connectivity testing, validations, and network troubleshooting across complex environments.
• Support Unified Communications and Identity & Access Control solutions, including Cisco CallManager and Cisco ISE.
• Implement and manage network security controls, including firewall configurations and incident handling across multiple platforms.
• Operate and monitor transport and backbone networks (IP/MPLS and DWDM), ensuring performance, stability, and redundancy.
• Provide advanced technical support for network-related incidents, working closely with internal teams and external vendors.
• Collaborate with technology partners (e.g., Cisco, Nokia) to ensure efficient operations and issue resolution.
• Contribute to continuous improvement, documentation, and optimization of network environments.

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience supporting and operating complex network infrastructures.
• Strong knowledge of data center networking, network security, and transport networks.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco technologies, including routing, switching, and network services.
• Experience managing firewalls (e.g., Cisco, Fortinet, Check Point).
• Knowledge of IP/MPLS and DWDM networks.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in high-availability and critical environments.
• Experience working with vendors and cross-functional teams.
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Living in Portugal and available to work in remote model.
