Join our team as a Mid Data Scientist (Hybrid – Lisbon)!

What You’ll Do:

• Develop and deploy machine learning models (supervised & unsupervised) to solve business problems
• Perform Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA) and feature engineering
• Build robust data pipelines and analytical workflows
• Design and run ML experiments, including tuning and validation
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical solutions
• Monitor model performance and ensure quality, reliability, and scalability
• Communicate insights clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Contribute to MLOps practices, including versioning and deployment lifecycle

Qualifications:

• Strong Python knowledge (NumPy, pandas, scikit-learn)
• Basic familiarity with PyTorch or TensorFlow
• Solid experience with EDA and feature engineering
• Strong foundation in statistics and probability (hypothesis testing, inference, distributions)
• Experience building and evaluating ML models (tuning, validation, cross-validation)
• Experience with ML experimentation tools (MLflow, W&B, Databricks ML)
• Strong SQL skills for data analysis
• Familiarity with Cloud ML platforms (Azure ML, AWS SageMaker, GCP Vertex AI)
• Data visualization experience (Matplotlib, Seaborn, Plotly)
• Experience with Power BI or Tableau
• Understanding of MLOps fundamentals (model registry, versioning, deployment lifecycle)
• Degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Machine Learning, or related field
• 3–5 years of experience in Data Science environments
• Experience building and deploying production-level models
• English proficiency (minimum B2)
