Join our team as a AWS/Redshift Database Administrator (Hybrid -Porto)!

What You’ll Do:

• Install, configure, and maintain AWS RDS, Aurora PostgreSQL, Aurora MySQL, and Amazon Redshift environments.
• Provide 360° support for database layers across multiple services and technologies.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize database performance in mission-critical environments.
• Perform query optimization and workload management to ensure efficient database operations.
• Support and maintain high-availability database infrastructures on AWS.
• Work closely with international teams on global projects and technology initiatives.
• Contribute to technology strategy decisions and future architecture choices.
• Utilize AWS services such as CloudWatch, IAM, Lambda, and S3 for monitoring, automation, and security.
• Participate in shift rotations and on-call support to ensure service continuity.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience supporting mission-critical database environments on AWS.
• Strong expertise with AWS RDS and Aurora (PostgreSQL and MySQL).
• Proven experience working with Amazon Redshift.
• Advanced knowledge of database performance tuning and query optimization.
• Experience with workload management and database monitoring.
• Familiarity with AWS services such as S3, Lambda, CloudWatch, and IAM.
• Experience working in shift-based and on-call support environments.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to collaborate in international and cross-functional teams.
• English proficiency at a professional level (minimum B2); French is a plus (intermediate level desirable).
• Living in Portugal and available to work in a hybrid model.
