Join our team as a Web Developer – PHP & JavaScript (Hybrid/Remote – Lisbon)!
What You’ll Do:
- Develop and maintain dynamic web applications and websites using PHP and JavaScript;
- Collaborate with designers, developers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions;
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code that follows best practices and coding standards;
- Implement responsive and user-friendly UI components using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks such as Vue.js;
- Utilize PHP frameworks such as Laravel or Symfony to streamline development and enhance code scalability and maintainability;
- Integrate third-party APIs and services into web applications as needed;
- Perform unit testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing to ensure the reliability and robustness of web applications;
- Optimize application performance through performance tuning, code refactoring, and architectural improvements;
- Troubleshoot and debug issues, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field;
- 5+ years of experience in web development, with expertise in PHP and JavaScript;
- Proficiency in PHP programming language and related frameworks (Laravel, Symfony, etc.);
- Strong understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript;
- Experience with JavaScript frameworks/libraries such as Vue.js;
- Knowledge of database technologies (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.) and experience with SQL;
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git;
- Fluency in both spoken and written English and Portuguese.
