Join our team as a Network Engineer (Hybrid – Lisbon)!

What You’ll Do:

• Create network architecture, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Ensure reliability, prevent downtime, and resolve hardware or software problems.
• Implement network security protocols, Quality of Service (QoS) policy and Monitoring for security threats (intrusion detection systems).
• Maintain records of configurations and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Academic background relevant to the role.
• 3 to 4 years of experience in designing, managing, and supporting LAN and WAN networks.
• More than 3 years of experience in Cisco Routing and Switching (Nexus and Catalysts) and Fortinet (switching and routing).
• More than 2 years of experience in NAC (802.1x and others) and Load Balancers (NGINX and Fortiweb).
• More than 2 years of experience in Zoning and segmentation (Fortinet and Checkpoint firewalls) and perimeter design (Fortinet and Checkpoint VPN).
• More than 2 years of experience in WIFI (Wireless Cisco and Fortinet).
• Experience with Voice over IP protocols (Cisco, Asterisk and FreePBX).
• Knowledge of network architecture and LAN and WAN protocols – SDWAN, MPLS and others.
• Solid knowledge of network management and monitoring principles and platforms (Radius, TACACs, Zabbix, PRTG, oAuth, LanSweeper and others).
• Knowledge and experience working with DNS, DHCP, AD/ADFS, Digital Certificates, SIP/SIPTrunk, CallManagers, proxies and reverse proxies, and others.
• Knowledge and/or experience in network design and segmentation/segregation, as well as zoning and DMZ design and strategies, is valued.
• Proficiency in English.
