Join our team as a Linux System Administrator (Hybrid – Porto)!
What You’ll Do:
- Design, deploy, configure, and maintain Linux servers and related infrastructure components such as storage, networking, and virtualization platforms;
- Install, configure, and maintain Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) servers and related software, including package management, kernel tuning, and system hardening;
- Manage and administer Linux-based systems, ensuring high availability, reliability, and security;
- Perform system monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting to optimize system performance and resolve issues promptly;
- Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions to safeguard critical data and ensure business continuity;
- Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools to streamline administrative tasks, improve efficiency, and enforce best practices;
- Plan and execute system upgrades, patches, and migrations while minimizing disruption to business operations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field;
- 7+ years of experience as a Linux Administrator;
- Expertise in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL);
- Proficiency in managing Linux-based servers and related technologies, including networking, storage and virtualization;
- Expertise in shell scripting (Bash) and automation tools (Ansible, Python) for configuration management and deployment automation;
- Strong understanding of system monitoring, performance tuning, and security best practices in Linux environments;
- Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) or equivalent certification is a plus;
- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
