Join our team as a Linux System Administrator (Hybrid – Porto)!

What You’ll Do:

• Design, deploy, configure, install and maintain Linux servers and related infrastructure components such as storage, networking, and virtualization platforms.
• Manage and administer Linux-based systems, ensuring high availability, reliability, and security.
• Perform system monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting to optimize system performance and resolve issues promptly.
• Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions to safeguard critical data and ensure business continuity.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools to streamline administrative tasks, improve efficiency, and enforce best practices.
• Plan and execute system upgrades, patches, and migrations while minimizing disruption to business operations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a Linux Administrator.
• Experience with Linux systems regarding configuration and administration.
• Proficiency in managing Linux-based servers and related technologies, including networking, storage, clustering, and virtualization (VMware).
• Expertise in shell scripting (Bash) and automation tools (Ansible, Python) for configuration management and deployment automation.
• Strong understanding of system monitoring, performance tuning, and security best practices in Linux environments.
• Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
