What You’ll Do:
- Design, develop, and maintain reusable Infrastructure as Code (IaC) modules, Terraform templates, and automation workflows for provisioning, configuring, and managing Azure resources.
- Develop full-stack self-service applications, portals, and backend services that simplify cloud resource provisioning and lifecycle management for application teams.
- Build and maintain REST APIs and integrate cloud automation solutions with Azure, GitHub, ServiceNow, identity services, and other enterprise platforms.
- Design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or equivalent tools to automate the validation, testing, packaging, and deployment of infrastructure and software across environments.
- Develop and maintain backend services using Java/Spring and REST APIs, alongside frontend applications using JavaScript/TypeScript and frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.
- Implement cloud security and governance controls, including identity and access management, policy enforcement, secrets management, and auditability.
- Create and execute automated functional, regression, and deployment tests to ensure the quality, reliability, and security of applications, APIs, infrastructure modules, and cloud services.
- Automate recurring operational tasks and cloud management workflows using PowerShell or equivalent scripting languages.
- Integrate monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability capabilities into cloud automation products to ensure production readiness and reliability.
- Support production operations, troubleshoot technical issues, and manage the ongoing maintenance and lifecycle of cloud automation services.
- Apply containerization and Kubernetes fundamentals, including Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), to support containerized workloads.
- Establish technical standards, reusable design patterns, and implementation guidelines that promote maintainability, scalability, and consistency across cloud services.
- Identify and implement improvements that reduce manual intervention, operational complexity, and cloud service delivery times.
- Collaborate with platform engineering, security, and application teams across Saint-Gobain’s international organization to deliver secure and scalable cloud solutions.
Qualifications:
- Professional Experience: At least 10 years of professional experience in an international company environment, with strong senior-level technical knowledge across software development, cloud engineering, and automation.
- Microsoft Azure and Cloud Architecture: Advanced experience designing and implementing secure, scalable, and governed Azure cloud solutions across enterprise environments.
- Terraform and Infrastructure as Code: Strong experience developing reusable Terraform modules, templates, and automated workflows for cloud resource provisioning and lifecycle management.
- CI/CD and DevOps: Experience designing and maintaining automated pipelines using GitHub Actions or equivalent CI/CD tools, covering infrastructure and application deployments.
- Full-Stack Software Development: Expert-level proficiency in backend and frontend development, including: Java and Spring for backend services, REST API design and development, JavaScript and TypeScript, Frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.
- Cloud Security and Governance: Knowledge of identity and access management, access controls, cloud policies, secrets management, compliance, and audit requirements.
- API and Platform Integration: Strong experience integrating Azure services with GitHub, ServiceNow, identity providers, and other enterprise platforms through secure APIs and automation workflows.
- Automated Testing and Quality Engineering: Expert knowledge of automated functional, regression, and deployment testing for applications, APIs, infrastructure components, and cloud services.
- Scripting and Operational Automation: Proficiency in PowerShell or equivalent scripting languages to automate operational processes and integrate cloud services.
- Monitoring and Production Operations: Experience implementing monitoring, logging, alerting, troubleshooting, and operational support practices for production cloud services.
- Containers and Kubernetes: Working knowledge of containerized applications and Kubernetes, particularly Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
- Platform Engineering: Ability to develop reusable self-service cloud products, automation services, APIs, and deployment patterns that improve the cloud consumption experience for application teams.
- Technical Leadership: Ability to make sound architectural decisions, establish engineering standards, provide technical guidance, and promote reusable, maintainable solutions.
- Collaboration and Communication: Ability to work effectively with international teams and coordinate with engineering, application, security, and platform stakeholders.
