What You’ll Do:
- Develop and customize QGIS plugins to meet specific project needs.
- Automate repetitive tasks and complex workflows using scripts.
- Work with geospatial databases, particularly PostGIS, to manage and analyze geographic data.
- Utilize programming skills, primarily in Python, for scripting and plugin development in QGIS.
- Apply GIS knowledge to geoprocessing, spatial analysis, and geospatial data manipulation.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Python, essential for scripting and plugin development in QGIS.
- Knowledge of additional programming languages such as C++ and JavaScript is beneficial.
- Strong understanding of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) concepts and technologies.
- Experience with geospatial databases, especially PostGIS (PostgreSQL extension for geographic data).
