Join our team as a Data Engineer Master (Hybrid – Porto)!

What You’ll Do:

• Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of large-scale data engineering solutions on Snowflake
• Build and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines to support Customer 360/CDP and analytics initiatives
• Design incremental and near real-time data processing workflows with strong error handling and recovery mechanisms
• Develop event-driven data solutions to support customer behavior and engagement use cases
• Integrate data from multiple business platforms, including CRM, ecommerce, POS/store systems, analytics platforms, and customer support tools
• Support Customer 360 initiatives by modeling customer identities, events, sessions, and behavioral datasets
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions
• Design and maintain dimensional data models, including facts and dimensions for analytics and reporting
• Optimize Snowflake performance and cloud costs through query tuning, clustering, warehouse sizing, and environment management
• Implement monitoring, data freshness checks, alerting, and data quality controls
• Work with orchestration and automation tools such as Azure Data Factory, Airflow, dbt, or similar
• Contribute to CI/CD practices and Git-based development workflows, including code reviews and pull requests
• Support migration initiatives from on-premise BI/DWH platforms to cloud-native architectures
• Mentor and review the work of other engineers while contributing to technical design decisions
• Collaborate with technical and non-technical teams to ensure data reliability, scalability, and business value delivery

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience as a Data Engineer
• 3+ years in a senior or lead role with ownership of technical decisions and peer reviews
• Strong hands-on experience with Customer 360, CDP platforms, or similar customer data ecosystems
• Extensive experience building and managing large-scale data pipelines on Snowflake
• Background in retail or ecommerce environments, including online and store/POS data integration
• Experience migrating on-premise BI/Data Warehouse solutions to cloud platforms
• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
• English proficiency at a professional level (minimum B1) and Spanish proficiency at a professional level (minimum B2).
• Availability to work in a hybrid model in Porto.
