Join our team as a Data Engineer (Hybrid – Lisboa/Porto)!
What You’ll Do:
- Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) to extract, transform, and load data from various source systems into data warehouses and data lakes;
- SQL proficiency (CRUD operations, data modelling, transnationality, tuning);
- Proficiency in multidimensional modelling concepts;
- Troubleshoot and debug data issues, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions;
- Design and optimize Big Data solutions using technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Kafka and Hive;
- Knowledge of TDD/BDD and Continuous Delivery;
- Experience working in Scrum methodology.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field;
- 4+ years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on building and maintaining data pipelines and ETL processes;
- Strong proficiency in Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) and SQL, with experience in performance tuning and optimization;
- Hands-on experience with Big Data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Kafka and Hive;
- Familiarity with data modelling concepts and techniques, including dimensional modelling and data warehousing principles;
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform is a plus;
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
