Join our team as an Integration Engineer (Remote – Portugal based)!

What You’ll Do:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain healthcare system integrations.
• Implement and support HL7, DICOM, and other interoperability interfaces.
• Configure and manage integration workflows using Mirth Connect and related technologies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration, interface, and data flow issues across distributed systems.
• Collaborate with internal teams and customers to deliver integration projects on time and to quality standards.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation, interface specifications, and deployment guides.
• Monitor integration performance, identify improvement opportunities, and ensure system reliability.
• Provide technical support during implementation, testing, and production phases.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in Integration Engineering, Software Development, or a similar role.
• Experience delivering end-to-end healthcare integration projects, preferably in Radiology.
• Knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards (HL7, DICOM, IHE).
• Experience with integration engines (e.g., Mirth Connect).
• Proficiency with databases (Oracle is a strong plus) and technologies such as Java, .NET, JavaScript, XML, SOAP, and SQL.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Portuguese and English proficiency at a professional level (minimum B2).
• Living in Portugal and available to work in a remote model.
