Join our team as a Oracle DBA (Hybrid – Lisbon)!
What You’ll Do:
- Provide advanced Database Administration support across Oracle, MySQL, and Exadata environments
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve database incidents, ensuring optimal performance, availability, and reliability
- Support the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of database-related projects
- Manage Oracle RAC, Data Guard, and MySQL environments, following established best practices and security standards
- Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and support teams to ensure seamless operation of database-dependent systems
- Participate in database architecture, deployment, and migration initiatives
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and knowledge-sharing materials
- Contribute to process improvements and operational excellence across database services
- Support database environments hosted on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) when applicable
- Participate in an on-call rotation to support critical production environments and ensure service continuity
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience administering Oracle Database and MySQL environments in production
- Strong knowledge of Oracle Database, Oracle RAC, Data Guard, and MySQL
- Experience with Exadata environments
- Knowledge of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is a strong plus
- Ability to manage both operational activities and project-based database initiatives
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
- Portuguese (native) and English (minimum B1 level)
